Bringing Cell Phones at School Hours: Give Advantages or More Disadvantages?
A cell phone is a communication tool. But in this moment, cell phones have changed the function. Phone becomes a primary requirement. In fact, people who do not have a cell phone, --for some people-- would be considered dated.
In former time cell phones only owned by adults to communicate with colleagues or relatives. But now mobile phones have many attractive features, almost all people have it for the main function or just because they want to keep growth of the times.
The features of cell phones are a camera, mp3, video player, Internet, and cell phone could be a media buying and selling. These features are the main attraction of the youth and children to have a mobile phone because it greatly facilitates that user.
While at school students often carry a cell phone. Their cell phone use to communicate with parents, friends and even teachers. Cell phones are also used to find information via the Internet. Cell phones can also entertain with interesting features. Mobile can store any data and easy to carry anywhere, it would be very helpful.
However, to carry a cell phone to school and wear it during school hours can give some adverse effects. Distract the students while studying, by way of SMS, or the Internet. Students will also be free to open a porn site. Over time, this will make the achievement of students decreased by disruption of concentration resulting from the use cell phones during school hours. Teachers will feel offended if the students play cell phones when he/she teaches.
So, the use of mobile phones has some advantages and disadvantages. We can minimize losses by not enable the use of mobile phones during school hours and can activate it again during recess or after school. Then, smart use them.
